More Than a Gym. A Place to Build Confidence.
We built The Grove Athletics because families and athletes deserve better than cookie-cutter fitness programs. Every session is coached, every athlete is seen, and every rep has a purpose.
Your Team Teaches the Sport. We Develop the Athlete.
The Grove Athletes Academy Founders Block is now open for registration — a small-group athletic development program designed to help young athletes become faster, stronger, and more confident.
Athletes are grouped by age and developmental stage. Junior Academy (ages 9–11) and Performance Academy (ages 12–15) train separately to ensure the best experience for every athlete.

Give Your Team an Edge Before the Season Starts.
From pre-season prep to in-season maintenance, The Grove provides structured, sport-specific dryland and performance training that makes your team faster, stronger, and more resilient. Built for coaches who want their athletes to compete at the next level.

Don’t Let Winter Limit Your Business.
Professional indoor facility access is now available to a limited number of independent trainers. Your clients. Your coaching. Your business.

Mark Hamilton
Founder & Head Coach
Built by a Coach Who Gets It.
The Grove Athletics was founded by Mark Hamilton — an experienced personal trainer, soccer coach, father, and community builder who saw a gap in how local athletes and families access quality training.
After years of coaching youth sport, training adults, and building programs in the Spruce Grove and Stony Plain community, Mark created The Grove to be the kind of facility he always wished existed — one where athletes of all ages can develop real skills, build confidence, and train with purpose.
The Grove isn't a franchise. It's not a big-box gym. It's a locally owned performance space built by someone who genuinely cares about helping people in this community move better, feel stronger, and believe in what they're capable of.
